Facilitation

You've gathered the key stakeholders and secured the venue. You know what needs to happen in the room, the desired outcome. Now how will you make sure your goals are met, that things stay on track, that everyone is engaged?

When the stakes are high, the quality of the conversation matters as much as the content of it. Someone needs to hold the room, keep the group moving forward, and make sure the people who need to be heard actually are. That's the work of a skilled facilitator - and it starts well before anyone walks through the door.

There's also something an outside facilitator brings that an internal leader simply can't: neutrality. When you're in the room as a participant, you can't also be managing the room. An external facilitator holds the process so your team can focus entirely on the work. No internal politics. No divided attention. Just a skilled guide whose only job is to make sure the session delivers what it's supposed to.

The person hiring a facilitator is making a trust decision. You're putting your team, your agenda, and often a significant investment of time and resources in someone else's hands. I don't take that lightly.

If you'd like to talk through what your session needs, I'm glad to start there.

Strategic Planning Sessions

Your team has opinions, priorities, and probably some competing agendas. A well-facilitated planning session surfaces what matters most, builds alignment around it, and leaves everyone with a clear and actionable path forward.

Board Meetings and Retreats

Board rooms have their own dynamics - strong voices, time pressure, and decisions that carry real weight. I bring structure and neutrality so the agenda moves, every voice is heard, and the meeting ends with clarity rather than more questions

Team Alignment Sessions

Transitions, leadership changes, and periods of uncertainty can leave a team searching for its footing. These sessions create the space for a group to reset, reconnect, and move forward together.

Workshops

Every workshop I facilitate is built around your specific objectives, not pulled from a generic playbook. Whether it's a half day or a full day, the design and the delivery are intentional from start to finish.

Task Force and Committee Meetings

Focused, efficient, and respectful of everyone's time. I help groups with complex work stay on task, work through points of view productively, and reach decisions that stick.
